I need to stop being annoying! I think I'm annoying people a lot lately. Sigh.

Anyway National Day celebrations were fun, though it felt sort of - hollow - I don't know how to put it. I miss primary school National Day celebrations, when I'd sing loudly and heckcare everyone else around me.
Maybe it was knowing there'd be no class reunion after celebrations this year ): SOMEONE ORGANISE ONE PLEASE *hint hint Vic/Kester hint*. Was talking to Auntie Elmo the other day and we realised the RosythGEPers who went to RG...we've sort of drifted apart. Sigh.
Anyway after ND celebrations there was Speech Day rehearsal, and since Mrlee refused to let us stay, Xinyuan and I went for lunch instead at Plaza Sing (Vic stubbornly remained, citing unfinished Philo* homework). Then Xinyuan's friend Gordon came along too, and we sat at Kopitiam for like 2h before realising that we shouldn't hog seats, so we left and tried to find somewhere to hobo at in Dhoby Ghaut MRT.
Then we found a staircase which looked promising, until Xinyuan's friend pointed out that it actually didn't lead to empty space but to a LAN shop. Smart Xinyuan then asked "LAN shop? What's that? What does a LAN shop sell?". Upon which we all burst out laughing, and went in to explore.
Okay this sounds very noob but IT'S QUITE SCARY INSIDE LEH. Like normally I don't dare to go into LAN shops because they're all dark and dingy, but even though this one wasn't dark it was still frightening in this weird inexplicable manner. Everyone had this killer look on their faces (no, not Slack-Jawed Gamer; that's cliché), and they were all playing random shooting games and RPGs. There's something immeasurably freaky about an identical row of computers with a row of people wearing identical expressions behind them.
*You know how we're always abbreviating 'Philosophy' to 'Philo'? ('philo' - loving/love of, 'sophia' - wisdom) Considering the etymology of the word, whenever we say "I'm going for Philo class", we're actually saying "I'm going for a class on Love". Aww.
