I wonder if his mum really IS physically bigger than his dad. Hahahaha. It's really sweet though; hope he shows his parents :)

I have this one in my bag; she said she was going to give the other one to her teacher. The one she's giving to her teacher has "恭喜发财，祝你幸福" on it. She spent half an hour writing it omg :O kept practising until she got the hang of writing Chinese characters, because she'd never written any in her entire life. Wao.
Another kid wanted to learn how "I give you money" was written in Chinese, so I did a direct translation for him. When I checked 15 minutes later, he'd proudly written "恭喜发财，我给你钱" on his angpao. HAHA.
