I have just finished my 4.5-page long monolith of a Chinese essay on the merits of learning Chinese! Congratulate me. I haven't learnt tingxie, though :X But who cares! We just had one yesterday, I'm having another one today, and there's yet another one on Monday. Bah.

Am also rereading Fast Food Nation, and meatpacking sounds like a pretty gross job. Slaughterhouses, ew. And Schlosser describes the smell a little too vividly.
