Poetry is the Pensieve of the soul; with some luck the words hit home and actually, does it really matter if no one but you understands the layers that you peel off for the world to see? We shave off the shiny layers of each poem, always looking for the grain of truth (or of someone's heart) in the middle - but run up against references, unshared vocabularies or little key-secrets. So be it, then. To decipher messages that were never meant for you is picking the lock of someone's life without a key.
