Yay for yearmates!

We all passed FD+Evac Silver :D

And cheers to our amazing audacity in attempting 2 accreds on the same day (and passing both lul) when everyone else did only one!

...Okay I don't know what to say already. Audrey's already chronicled everything from her POV. I'll talk about my Evac group then. The ma'ams split us into groups of 4; my group consisted of Lingzhi, Ruth, Sarah (from Cedar) and me. For some weird reason, all the other yearmates' groups went to one station while we went to another D:

Our station had two groups: the Cedarians plus ours. We got to practise our handseats and lifting beforehand, which was when we found out how committed the Cedarians are to perfecting their knowledge; Sarah was practising fireman's lift or something, but instead of just lifting her casualty (like we normally do within ourselves), she was reciting all the steps from the notes as she went along. Without any references. WORD FOR WORD.

Later, we got to talk to the other group when we were shut in a room to practise before doing the accreds for fireman's lift. Turns out it wasn't just a quirk of Sarah's - ALL the Cedarians were reciting the steps as they lifted their casualties! I commented that they sounded exactly like they memorised the notes, and Sarah replied that they did. :O They even refer to themselves in the third person (ie. "Aider 1 will instruct Aider 2...").

We finished our accreds later than the other station (yearmates' station). Ruth didn't need to take FD silver, so Lingzhi and I rushed to the hawker centre and chionged through lunch, then returned just in time to join the rest of the year in the changing room (the toilet, but we annexed it and closed the door).

So we changed into our uniforms quickly and went for UI, which was okayish. Then we took the supposed-to-be-45-minute theory test, but everyone finished within 25 minutes, tops. By then it was probably 3+pm, but there were still some people doing the theory test with us, so it seems we weren't too slow after all :D

Practical was amusing. We had around 5 minutes of revision before the sir announced the start of the actual accreds. Around 15 minutes later, it started drizzling and we were told to fall out, so everyone thought we'd be continuing inside but apparently we were done! :O Yay then the sir announced that everyone passed, and that Audrey got full marks for theory. We got our evac results later and to nobody's surprise, Audrey got highest for evac, thus proving her amazing notes-digesting ability. Crunch crunch gulp gulp.

Okay nothing interesting happened later. I took the MRT with all the Tampines yearmates (Shir Yingxin Mala) and went home aching like crazy. The walk home from the bus stop was absolute torture; I stumbled all the way back because my feet hurt. D:
