Okay so.
HCHCA (full name in all its Grandeur: Hwa Chong Institution History And Current Affairs Challenge Shield) was fun, but we didn't win anything. RI swept top 3 positions -.- Glendon's team (he was the only Sec3 in it) got 4th, some random RI guys got 3rd, some other random RI guys got 2nd and the Arena team comprising Adil/Jarret/Ben Mak were 1st, to no one's surprise.
Oh and I finally saw the celebrated ----- for the first time. Thoroughly unimpressive lol.
The preliminary round questions were super hard. How was I to know what Vladimir Putin looks like?! It's not as if I'm in love with the guy or anything. And that was considered an easy question, too :/ There was stuff like "When did Kofi Annan start his first term?" to which I answered 1995 because I remembered that he took over in the 1990s, but couldn't recall what year it was. Glendon got top individual scorer for preliminary round with an imba score of 42/50 :O
Sigh and I was totally brainwashed by Xinyuan's talk of Robert Mugabe and Zimbabwe (something about a Mugabe impersonator proudly announcing that he and Zimbabwe are One Entity lol) and forgot that he's the PRESIDENT, not the Prime Minister of Zimbabwe. Arghhhh.
The final round was totally killer; I was actually secretly glad we didn't get in when I saw the questions. They were crazily hard la. I mean, everyone knows Israel declared its independence in 1948, but who remembers the exact date!
I'd blog more about the kind of stuff they asked us, but Mr Lee borrowed my question paper this morning and hasn't returned it yet. Sigh.

Okay yay so BioPT's finally over. It was actually fairly easy, but not very fun (unlike PhysicsPT, which was awesomely entertaining to do), but I'm not complaining. The only interesting part was the poem I added to the last part of my pamphlet :/
Ohno mum back bye.
