I am SO insulted.
Some guy offered me a seat in the train. He was all nice about it, standing up the minute he spotted me. And fine, so the train WAS pretty crowded so it'd have been good to sit down.
But that was when I saw the huge sticker above the seat. It was all red and cheerful and read "THIS SEAT IS RESERVED FOR THEM". And below it, there was a series of four pictures depicting, in no particular order, a mother with her toddler, a wheelchair-bound person, an old man and a PREGNANT WOMAN.
Needless to say, I was horrified. I plastered a grin on my face and thanked the guy profusely before rushing to offer the seat to an auntie in her 60s with orange highlights.
Then I spent the rest of the train ride with one arm plastered flat to my belt area to prove to the world that I AM NOT PREGNANT.
Sheesh!
I am SO tightening my belt once I get my hands on my needlework kit.
