My teeth hurt.
I harbour a suspicion that it's because I missed my appointment two weeks ago, and as a result the braces lost their effect and the teeth started re-rooting themselves into my gums. So now they're being pulled out again as the newly-tightened braces start pulling them in.
Kind of gross, really.
So, AIG has been bailed out by the US government! My mum's now happy she didn't take out ALL her money, just most of it. My dad seems to have lost his stinginess in the wake of the financial crisis and is now insisting on getting not one, but TWO new computers to replace our stuttering-going-to-die one. He wants a desktop. I want a laptop. My mum heartily disagrees and suggests we keep the money to hedge against the coming recession.
I kind of agree with her, but the new laptop sounds really tempting. People with laptops always go around acting as if having, like, 2 laptops at home is no big deal, when I've never even had one (&(&*)((&#(&.
Nothing much happened recently, except that I whammed my leg against a corner of my bedside table and it gouged a tiny hole in my skin. I was expecting it to bleed but for some reason it didn't, so I started squeezing it and pressing it to make blood come out but it just REFUSED TO BLEED. I then warned it against bleeding later when I wouldn't be looking, but it started hurting like crazy like 10 minutes later when I was in the shower. That was when I saw the blood. I nearly widened the hole in my frustration. :/
Oh and ICCS was good. Mrs Ho ish sho nice :DDD Plus Sara taught me to do the twist in jive properly, so now I can actually twist properly! (Though I took my test about four months ago, twisting like an 80s disco wannabe. At least I know how to do it now (: )
I've now taken to factoring in 10 more minutes to the time I meet my mum anywhere she's never been before. It's for her to get lost, call me, and attempt to find her way back. It's good she married my dad, because he's not a local tour guide for nothing. :D But I'm sure those I've attempted to help find their way anywhere would know that though the tour guide can be trusted in matters of direction and maps, his daughter definitely can't.
