Me: *shows mum Inet announcement* "Do you remember the form you signed about the dining etiquette workshop in October?"

Mum: "What dining etiquette workshop?! I don't remember!"

Me: "Y'know, the one about the RI guys helping us push out our chairs - "

Mum: "HUH WHAT?!"

Me: " - sorry, I meant pull out our chairs - "

Mum: "Oh. I thought you were saying 'push up our chests'... *does a demo of pushing up chests* "...like this."
