Okay I finally got to spend a full day with RGAVPA :D

Rachel P. called to ask some of us lowersec people to do RHD concert, so we did. Unfortunately, the WHOLE lowersec was there and we needed people anyway so we had 3 people doing backstage 3 people doing spotlight and 3-4 people doing controlroom. And since there were so many volunteers, everything went fine.

After the concert started, we found this teacher we'd never even seen before controlling the mixer. Since he was dressed like Lord Voldemort, we figured he might just be the new technician since he looked like he kind of knew what he was doing. So we asked him if he was, but he turned out to be a teacher. Whoops.

Lol then after the whole thing ended, he introduced himself as Mr Thomas, Mr Jeremy or Mr Lee. (Smart me then proceeded to ask him if his name was Mr Thomas Jeremy Lee.) He is imbapro at AV stuff. Seriously, I think we all hope he gets to join AV as a new teacher, since he says he's trying to get involved. He is Damn Pro.

Then he told us we could stay and he'd try to explain to the uppersec people about it because we'd already done the concert once and would have a clearer impression and everything. Then we tested the mikes and went off for break, poor Vic got her whole recess niaoed away (always the case; last time Xinyuan and me used our pre-assembly free time) and nearly died of starvation later.

Second concert was okay la. Uppersec people were more enthu, somehow.

Then Sec4 farewell. Sec4s got bullied :)

Boonhwee gave out nice notes/letters, everyone started snacking on junk food, Vic started complaining of hunger, we both felt kind of woozy and weird because we hadn't eaten breakfast and it was already lunchtime and I started feeling drunk.

Cheryl, Vic, Xinyuan and me took a cab to Shaw for Exco handover lunch because it was raining while the rest took bus. Choped place then went to check out Pastamania with Vic but balked at the prices, so I ended up queuing at KFC with Xinyuan. "Value" meals at fastfood restaurants are overrated as usual; a Cheese Fries student meal consisting of regular cheese fries and Pepsi costs $4.30 while a OR Fillet Burger/Shrooms Burger meal with side changed to cheese fries (consists of burger, reg cheese fries and reg coke) costs $4.40. Xinyuan changed her side order to salad and started offering lettuce leaves around. (Incidentally, I was the one who suggested Pastamania but didn't end up eating there.)

Wasn't much of a handover for me cuz my successor for Exco'08-09 wasn't around lol. Boonhwee gave out More Stuff (soft toy SQUEEEEE) and now I feel guilty for not preparing presents. :/

Walked to Orchard MRT with Yunteng Xinyuan and Vic, but Vic wanted to go home via the AMK way and Xinyuan/Yunteng wanted to go check out the Bishan Gay at Bishan or something. Stoned all the way home.
