Much as I hate to admit it, I'm becoming like Xinyuan.
...That was a pause to give you time to appreciate the full effect on that terribly scary thought.
I always thought I'd be able to continue hanging out with Xinyuan and still retain my ability to shut out the rest of the world, but the sad truth dawned on me today when Ms Sally Wong came to tell us (because duh, Xinyuan got in
again) that we were top 3 together with Siying for Humanities Quiz and therefore have to do the Live Round on Friday.
I shall officially declare that though it was not my intention to shame the entire Sec2 level, I will end up doing so and paisehing Sec2s forever.
Like hello, I hate Humanities except for Lit. I can't stand Geog and History because they're the most darned boring subjects, with Physics being a possible exception. I should really stop laughing at people, first I laughed at PB and got a nomination for it and then I laughed at the Humanities Quiz people last year and now I'm going to be there myself.
Oh, cruel irony.
Anyway, today was slack and sian besides today's change of seats, which was rather uneventful. I was supposed to be in the Middle Group but with any luck, Ms Lee won't have noticed my switch to Yeqi's group. If this works I'll be smack in front of the teacher, and next to Xinyuan. My mum would be proud of my move, she likes to tell me to sit in front so that the teacher will notice me (doing what, stoning/doodling on my Maths worksheet?)
Got back more FPS drafts with more comments on how to improve the story. They're only selecting 3 stories out of our 6 to participate in the Asia-Pacific round, which I'm dreading because no matter how the results turn out, the 6 of us will be split into the Elite Competition People and the Normal Didn't Get In People.
Which will suck, seriously.
