I didn't realise even watching the video for Dirty Little Secret could make me emo. What's going on.

Stuff such as "I love you so much but can't tell you" applies to everyone at some point of time, no?

(Yeah I know you're nodding your head along with me because you remembered your ex-crush/brokenupboyfriend/whoever. Now you're suspecting I'm talking about you because it's so true for you that it can't be possible that I'm not referring to you. See, I can READ YOUR MIND.)

Though it might totally suck if you were secretly in love with your best friend. Imagine desperately needing to tell someone about how you're so in love with him/her but just can't say it...and then realising that damn, you can't tell your best friend after all!

(Yes, that's actually someone's dirty little secret. Sucks to that person.)

Anyway.

Went to Lilliputt today for a long-overdue family outing, since it's my mum's birthday. It was surprisingly fun and I thought I was a golf prodigy, until I started getting impatient with the ball and whacked the putter around anyhowly. My mum had tons of birthdaygirl luck.

Then lunch at OldTown, which was also great. Apple Hong was sitting behind us. Think it was probably because the place's owned by Mark Lee.

The tarts at this shop in Katong Shopping Centre are wonderful stuff. I think the shop's called Nona Something. Can't remember. Somehow warm banana pie is comforting on a cold rainy day.

My mum swore she'd stop buying clothes for me for the next 6 months. I actually have a lot of clothes, but I have favourites so I'll keep wearing those until I get sick of them after a few months. So my mum keeps seeing me wear the same stuff everytime, and being a vain person she can't stand what she perceives to be a severe lack of clothes for her daughter. So I get a few more pieces of clothing from time to time. :D

Problem is, we cleared out my wardrobe today and she found a lot of tees that I haven't been wearing these days, so she now knows my dirty little secret.

So so so that's why I'm emo.
