Okay sorry this was SUPPOSED to be a long post but I'm rushing for tuition, so.
OPEN HOUSEI chionged to school at about 6.10am, only to realise halfway that I'd forgotten my _____. So the nicenice Shir lent me even though I called her at 6.30am and woke her entire family x.x (Example 1 of why yearmates are nice.)
Then I got to J2 and started changing. I was the only one there until SANDRA came. She was nice and offered to lend me her stuff if Shir came late or anything :D (Example 2 of why yearmates are nice.)
Shir came, and lent me stuff. Yay! We kind of didn't realise Siying didn't get the message, though, and apparently she spent 10-15 mins looking for the rest of us on first shift whoops. 'Twas rushed, but somehow it turned out okay-looking.
Okay then RC shift. We kind of went round asking people to visit the Red Cross booth, and half the time people'd go "So, where IS the Red Cross booth?" because I'd keep forgetting to tell them where it was. Xinyuan went for her shift a whopping 1 WHOLE HOUR before she was supposed to report. Talk about enthu-ness, man. I was quite shocked when I saw her in the foyer already sitting there talking to people.
Shift over, and we went back to uh polish boots? I learnt two new methods from yearmates yesterday, and they worked really well! (Example 3 of why yearmates are nice.) Watched 斗牛要不要 for the first time in my entire life, thanks to Lz's influence.
Oh and halfway through polishing at J2 we heard the announcement about cheering at the amphi, so the whole group of us rushed down to watch haha. The cheerleaders were pretty good.
Then Audrey and I went to go get lunch, but there wasn't any yet, so at 11.25 we went to check again, but there was a long queue, so Audrey got lunch and I didn't. Eventually Xinyuan helped me get lunch after her shift though, thanks!
The feedback form collection booth over at the bus stop was QUIET. I stoned there with (Zhang) Xinyuan and Zhang Yue. They're nice people.
Finally, FPS/CAP shift, and it was fun xD Zhitian was with me for the first half of my shift so I wasn't lonely after all. Not many people visited, but it was fun talking rubbish with the teachers. Ms (Sharon) Ong suggested rearranging "ARTS" on our magnetic board to form "RATS". Later when she wasn't looking, we changed it to "STAR". :D Then Xinyuan and Constance came, so Xinyuan and I started asking Constance about CAP Seminar last year. She told us some, uh, stories (:
Some guy actually read my excerpt. I'm kind of proud of him, yay.
Aaaah tuition time. Will post about briefing in some other post.
